Bogdan Cozma
, hailing from Europe, settled in Canada a couple of years ago. Strong will, dedication, hopes and big dreams made this journey possible. He left a successful local blues band there and came here to find his luck. Currently looking for a blues band, he performs occasionally in different venues as a solo artist. With his soul in the blues universe, he'll perform some covers from his favourite blues artists, up there on the stage, where the music colors his world... Check out his MySpace page:

The Classics are made up of Roger Boudreau, Bruce Macleod and Steve Roy. Bruce and Steve played together in the Mountain Steam Bluegrass band. Roger hails from the rich musical background of Cheticamp, N.S. They play a variety of genres from Folk and Bluegrass to Acadien, Celtic, Country and beyond. Roger and Bruce met while working in Dublin, Ireland and they reconnected a few years later and joined up with Steve as The Classics. Their passion for this music gave them the dedication to continuously refine their vocal harmonies and instrumental arrangements for tight and polished performances. They feed on the energy and joy shared with appreciative audiences while they recreate feeling and power of the classic favourites they perform.

Carrie Katz is a singer/songwriter and poet. Recently featured at the 9th Anniversary of Solovox for her poetry and songs, her last CD project, Where You Dream, was produced by TOX Records and distributed by Universal Music Canada. Although Carrie currently performs solo, her performances on television, at festivals and shows in Montreal and elsewhere have been warmly received with or without her band. In addition, Carrie is a Certified Life Coach and works with individuals and artists of every genre while offering workshops on creativity to businesses and organizations. She is currently working on her next CD project. Visit Carrie’s MySpace page at

Closing our show this month is the yearly appearance of The Echo Hunters. Gordon Fleming and Larry Cassini will be joined by percussionist Rob Couture and violinist Sylvain Dancausse to delight us with haunting vocal harmonies, thoughtful lyrics, driving acoustic guitars and an eclectic groove. The band has played venues and festivals all over Canada and the States and is always a Side Door audience favourite! To know more about them:
