OSMOSAÏC is the talented duo of real-life partners Mario Landry and Viviane Lamy. Halfway between song and progressive folk, their style is punctuated by Celtic and Middle-Eastern undertones. Their repertoire of original tunes runs the gamut from medieval to pop, in a soothing, ethereal sound dominated by vocal harmonies over a backdrop of guitar accompaniment. Come discover their music and poetry and enter a universe filled with soft melancholy. For more information, visit www.osmosaic.com.

BIZ OLIVER is a versatile singer-songwriter with a soulful style. An outstanding entertainer who accompanies herself on keyboard, she has been compared to the likes of Aretha Franklin, Carole King and Diana Krall. Biz is a frequent performer on the Montreal folk circuit and recently released her first full-length CD, entitled “Soul Secrets”. This is her second appearance at the Side Door Coffee House.

GRAMPA BOB is the legendary “story-tailor” from the Eastern townships whom we love to invite to the Side Door at regular intervals. We never know what he will have in store for us, but he is always interesting and highly entertaining, and never fails to delight our audience!

THE ECHO HUNTERS are back for their yearly stint at the Side Door! Original members Gordon Fleming and Larry Cassini will take the stage with percussionist Rob Couture, bassist Alec McElcheran and violinist Sylvain Dancausse to play cuts from their brand-new disc “Cabin Fever”. A collection of songs that explore the darker sides of life, love and the world in which we live, this follow-up to their debut CD “Twenty Years”, released in 2003, features some subdued rockers, haunting ballads, breezy country and an irresistible cover of Penny Lang's Ain’t Life Sweet in a folk-rock style reminiscent of Crosby Stills, Nash and Young, America, and Loggins and Messina. The band plays venues and festivals all over Canada and the States and is always a Side Door audience favourite! Visit their website at www.echohunters.com.
