BIZ OLIVER is a versatile singer-songwriter with a soulful style. An outstanding entertainer who accompanies herself on keyboard, she has been compared to the likes of Aretha Franklin, Carole King and Diana Krall. Original members Gordon Fleming and Larry Cassini will take the stage with percussionist Rob Couture, bassist Alec McElcheran and violinist Sylvain Dancausse to play cuts from their brand-new disc “Cabin Fever”. A collection of songs that explore the darker sides of life, love and the world in which we live, this follow-up to their debut CD “Twenty Years”, released in 2003, features some subdued rockers, haunting ballads, breezy country and an irresistible cover of Penny Lang's Ain’t Life Sweet in a folk-rock style reminiscent of Crosby Stills, Nash and Young, America, and Loggins and Messina.
